Audi e-tron with virtual mirrors

May 24, 2019

I had a great day driving the e-tron with virtual mirrors. I learnt a lot by driving this car, more details to follow...

A quick note on virtual mirrors
I first saw the concept of virtual mirrors in 2013 at the VW XL1 and I was very excited by the idea. Having driven the e-tron with virtual mirrors my initial impression is positive, but I need to reflect and do the full data analysis as it is not an easy subject.

Dreamers and doers
Criticising is always easier than innovating and sometimes we forget to take a moment and acknowledge the achievement. So, a huge thank you to the Audi team for innovating with their virtual mirrors (and daring with the OLED displays!).

Many thanks to Scott Hodgins and Jon Ward at Tobii Pro

data collection and analysis as part of a personal study and as always views are my own.
