Automotive interior lighting
I think it adds a premium look and enchances the user experience (when it's done well).
Ambient lighting is a great opportunity for OEMs to add Brand DNA into the interior, by combining theater and functionality.
A key element is to achieve good harmonisation between interior lighting and in-car displays. Therefore, careful light measurement is required, this is science and art.
If feel that some OEMs offer too much choice on colour schemes and that could lead to mismatch within the cabin, but it is in the eye of the beholder.
New area for me so opend minded, please add your comments/feedback. What do you think about automotive interior lighting?
