If I had to choose my favourite infotainment system, Audi would be my first choice. I am very impressed with Audi's infotainment and I think it is best-in-class.
Audi's system is driver-centric with excellent feature set and in most use cases it has less total eyes-off-the-road time (TEORT) in comparison to other premium systems*.
The voice system needs improvement and is not as great as the one in Mercedes A-class (MBUX). In addition, I believe that some interactions on the lower screen can be improved, like when dialling a number.
Also, one area that we haven't seen anything interesting from Audi is passenger UX.
I have the feeling that this is about to change and I can't wait to see Audi's new in-car entertainment technologies at CES 2019.
